PSO-13 is building a multifunctional building for the Russian office of AMAZONE
In June 2021, PSO-13 signed a contract with AMAZONE, the leading German manufacturer of agricultural machinery, to construct a multifunctional building for the Russian representation.
The construction is being carried out on a 3.5 ha site in the “Dolmatovo” Industrial Park in the Domodedovo area near Moscow
Under the contract, PSO-13 will build the main building, a checkpoint, a modular block-container with two 600m³ cylindrical tanks of water and a fire extinguishing pump station, car and truck parking areas, tyre and oil storage, and an area for rest and exercise.
The main building will house a parts warehouse, a workshop, a spacious office with a showroom and a training centre. More than 1,000 technicians from Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus will be trained here each year.
The warehouse is intended to contain more than 20,000 different spare parts for AMAZONE agricultural and municipal machinery such as seed drills, sprayers, fertiliser spreaders and soil tillage implements.
In total the buildings and the facilities cover a floor space of more than 7,000 m². The representative office will employ 60 people. The volume of investment will amount to RUB 1 billion.
On 16 July 2021, a time capsule was laid on the construction site. The ceremony was attended by Ekaterina Zinovieva, Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow region, Alexey Zykov, General Director of Amazone LLC, Alexander Dvoinykh, Head of Domodedovo urban district of the Moscow region and Yury Vorotnin, General Director of PSO-13.
Amazone was founded in 1892. In the course of 138 years, the company has developed from a provincial enterprise into one of the world market leaders in agricultural machinery. In the year 2020 the turnover of the company exceeded 537 million Euro. Today 1,900 employees work at Amazone. The products are produced in nine factories in Germany, France, Hungary and Russia. They are exported to more than 70 countries. Amazone machinery is the winner of the Agritechnica, the largest agricultural machinery trade fair in Europe.
