PSO-13 will build a production and warehouse building for Kronospan in Kaluga region

A new building is being built at the Kronospan plant in the Kaluga Special Economic Zone near the town of Lyudinovo, close to the border of the Kaluga and Bryansk regions. The new facility  will produce base paper for decorative coatings of laminated chipboard and fibreboard.

The new building, more than 400 meters long, will house a pulp raw material warehouse, a preparatory plant, a base paper production shop with two production lines, a high-storage warehouse for finished products and an administrative block. The total area of the building will be over 17,000 m². The production capacity will be 40,000 tons per year. Engineering and transport infrastructure will be provided by the Special Economic Zone Kaluga.

Total investment in the construction of the new production facility is estimated at 4.3 billion roubles. The new production facility will accelerate the creation of a furniture industrial cluster in Lyudinovo, a strategically important project for the development of the southern regions of the Kaluga Region.

Kronospan is a world leader in the production of wood panels, medium density fibreboard, laminate, resin for chipboard and oriented strand board, laminated furniture and wall panels, window sills and floor coverings. The company was founded in Austria in 1897. It employs 14,000 people in 40 factories across 31 countries. The sales volume exceeds 4 billion euros.
