Construction of “Syrovar” factory reaches its final stage
The enterprise is located in the “Cheese Valley” agricultural park near Moscow, which is a large-scale and so far the only investment project of its kind in Russia.
On an area of 3 hectares, PSO-13 has built a production and storage building, an administrative and household block, a tank farm for storing raw milk products, and a tank car wash building combined with a checkpoint.
The production and storage building consists of a cheese making shop of 8,800 m² with a cutting and packing area and a 5,300 m² rack storage area with cheese ripening and finished product storage areas.
The two-storey annexed building houses a spacious conference room, offices, cloakrooms, a first aid station, amenity rooms, a boiler room and a water preparation area.
To reduce heat loss, the facades are clad with three-layer metal sandwich panels with 120 mm and 150 mm thick mineral wool filler. The plinth is made of prefabricated reinforced concrete three-ply slabs, 350 mm thick, with a 100 mm thick extruded polystyrene foam core.
The floors in the milk unloading area and in the production hall are made of acid-resistant tiles. The rooms are equipped with special ventilation systems.
The total dimensions of the building are 215 x 90 m. The total area of the buildings and structures is approx. 16 000 m².
The construction work on the site is currently being completed. The installation of the internal utility networks is nearing completion, and technological equipment is being installed. Already this year the first batches of cheese will be made here.
Up to 190 tons of milk will be processed at “Syrovar” daily and the annual output will reach 5,400,000 kg of hard cheese. They will be made according to an Italian recipe. There will be 100 jobs created at the enterprise.
The “Syrovar”company is a subsidiary of one of the oldest Dmitrovsky Dairy Plant (DMZ) near Moscow, which already produces up to 8 tons of hard cheese a day. DMZ actively develops: apart from traditional dairy products, nearly 28 tons of ice cream are produced here daily: vanilla, chocolate, crème brûlée, eskimo and plombard in various fruit jelly shells on the basis of natural fruit and berry puree. The plant's products are supplied to 30 cities in Russia and exported to Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, the USA and EU countries. In 2019, the plant took part in the largest profile exhibition of ready-made food products ANUGA 2019 in Cologne..
