Construction work is coming to an end at Flint Group printing ink plant

PSO-13 is completing construction work on the Flint Group's printing inks plant. The facility is being built in the Kaluga region, close to the Freight Village Kaluga North industrial park.

On a plot of 2.5 hectares, a production and warehouse building with an area of 5,882 m² was built with an adjoining administrative block with an area of 853 m², a checkpoint, a garage and a shed for storing pallets. The total building area exceeds 10,000 m². The total surface area of the buildings exceeds 10,000 m².

The following external networks and infrastructure have been built: a boiler house, a transformer station, utility and storm water sewers, storm water treatment facilities with control tanks, a fire-extinguishing pumping station with underground water tanks, a gas and heat pipeline, utility, fire-extinguishing and irrigation water lines, 10 kV and 0.4 kV cables, communications networks, video surveillance systems for automatic fire fighting, smoke exhaust and a fire alarm system.

In the rooms of the main building, the installation of internal engineering networks is being completed and finishing work is nearing completion. Multi-storey racking has been installed in the storage area. Furniture is being assembled in the offices of the administrative block.  

Asphalted roadways, shunting areas for heavy vehicles and car parks have been built on the plot. When the weather gets warmer the landscaping and planting of greenery will be completed.

The new plant will strengthen Flint Group's position on the strategically important Russian packaging market. The enterprise will employ over 70 people. Production volume will be up to 8 000 tons of inks per year.
