PSO-13 has completed the construction of the “Karandash” Industrial Park in the Ryazan region
The private industrial park "Karandash" was opened on Wednesday, 29 December in the village of Lesnoy, Ryazan region. The opening ceremony was attended by Governor of the Ryazan region Nikolai Lyubimov, director of the management company of the industrial park "Karandash" Sergey Vorobyev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Economic Development of the region Nina Solomonova and Shilovsky district management.
"Karandash" is Russia's first industrial park specialising in the school and office goods industry. The project is being implemented as part of the Small and Medium Enterprise national project with the active support of the Ryazan regional government and private investors. It focuses on the import substitution of office supplies from Europe and South-East Asia.
As part of the first phase of the park's development, PSO-13 constructed a production and warehouse building with a high-storage area, a loading and unloading area and a two-storey administrative block. The building measures 170 x 72 m. Total floor area 14,280 m². The height to the bottom of the supporting structures in the production area is 7.65 m, in the storage area 12.6 m. There are two crane girders with carrying capacity of 5 tons in the production area.
The park has an engineering infrastructure: a transformer substation, a diesel generator set, water treatment facilities, a fire extinguishing pump station with water tanks, drainage, gas, water and electricity networks, roadways, parking and shunting sites for vehicles.
The first resident of the park is "Grafika" LLC, which specialises in the production of paper and stationery (albums, notebooks, etc.). By 2024, this company plans to increase its annual revenue to RUB 1 billion.
The “Karandash” Industrial Park will become a growth point that will boost not only the economy of the Shilovsky District, but also the Ryazan Region as a whole. By the end of 2024, the park will accommodate at least 7 residents with a total investment of RUB 757 million and the creation of over 300 jobs.
