Aleksin Paper and Cardboard Factory (ABCF) is one of the leading producers of waste paper board in the central region of Russia. It is part of the vertically integrated holding SFT-Group. The factory has a production capacity of 190 million m² of corrugated products and 120,000 tonnes of cardboard.
In 2019, PSO-13 built a new cardboard production plant for the ABCF. With the plant the SFT Group holding became the only cardboard manufacturer in Russia with a production area covering the entire territory of the European part of Russia. The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of the Tula region, Aleksey Dyumin.
Plant characteristics:
- Land plot area 64 924 m²
- Buildable area 36,847 m²
- Surface area of driveways and squares, pavements and bunds 15,287 m²
- Landscaping area 12,151 m²
Due to the extremely tight construction schedule, the main structural, wet and concrete works were carried out during the cold season. The complex basements for the process equipment, up to 6 metres in depth, were carried out in a closed building shell, using sheet piling.
All work, including pre-commissioning, was completed in 11 months.
