Description

Danish manufacturer Grundfos is one of Europe's market leaders in pumping equipment. It manufactures more than 16 million pump units annually. The group has representative offices and plants in 56 countries. The company has been operating in Russia since 1992. Grundfos pumps are installed in water supply systems of Russia's largest cities, public utilities, large industrial enterprises, and in life support systems of transport and socially significant facilities.

Since 2005 GRUNDFOS Istra plant built by PSO-13 has been operating in Moscow region. In 2011, the 2nd stage of the plant, also built by PSO-13, was commissioned. Queen Margrethe II of Denmark attended the opening ceremony.

Today, the total area of GRUNDFOS Istra is 30 000 m², of which 12 000 m² are production facilities, 13 000 m² are storage facilities and 5 000 m² are administrative facilities. The land area covers 10 hectares.

GRUNDFOS Istra produces about 50 000 pumps, control systems and components each year.

Currently the production building "Special Coating Shop" is under construction. The construction area is 763 m².

The production building is intended for locating and functioning of two lines for the application of special coatings on metal parts of pumping equipment. A cataphoresis coating line and a powder coating line are to be installed.

The first construction stage

It was commissioned in 2005 and consists of:

  • A 13 590 m² production and warehouse building. It is used as a warehouse, assembly, testing and packaging facility. The building dimensions are 120 x 108 m. The height to the bottom of the trusses is 7 m.
  • An administration building comprises offices, a canteen, a nurse's station, administrative and technical premises. The size of the building is 72 m x 15, 4 m. Total area is 2 150 m².
  • Power unit building with gas boiler house, transformer substation, air and refrigerating compressor rooms. Power generating unit area is 892 m².
  • Guardhouse, paints warehouse with canopy and engineering infrastructure water intake with two wells, pumping station, fire water tanks, sewage treatment plant, diesel generator station, emergency fuel reserve tank, external and internal utility networks.
The second construction stage

It was commissioned in 2011 and includes:

  • A warehouse building with integrated office space of 12 960 m². In addition to a storage area with 11 505 euro pallets, it has 5.5 m high cantilever racking for 7.5 m long products, offices, a conference room, canteen, recreation room, administrative and technical rooms. The size of the building is 120 x 108 m.
  • Container storage area of 240 m² used for storing solid waste of cardboard, paper and wood.
  • Second guardhouse
  • 2 car parking lots with a total capacity of 61 parking spaces
  • Storm water treatment facility
