K-Flex is a Russian subsidiary of the Italian concern L'ISOLANTE K-FLEX, one of the world leaders in the field of elastomeric materials for thermal and acoustic insulation. The concern manufactures its products at 14 plants located in the USA, France, Great Britain, China, India, Malaysia, Egypt, Poland, Vietnam and Russia.
In 2013-2014, PSO-13 reconstructed Russia's first K-Flex plant in Rumyantsevo town near Moscow: the building area was increased by 2.5 times to 12,000 m², the roof was raised several metres, and engineering networks were replaced. All work was carried out without interrupting production. In 2017, PSO-13 built a building for the second K-Flex plant in the "Trapezia" industrial zone, and in October 2020, PSO-13 signed a contract with K-Flex to build the Italian company's third plant in the Moscow region.
The new plant will produce innovative foam rubber insulation materials and will be the largest production facility of its kind in the CIS.
The area of the building is 24,600 m². Land plot area 8 hectares.
Investments will exceed 2 billion rubbles. 90 new jobs will be created here. Production will start in the third quarter of 2021.
