Founded in 1972, the Irish Kerry Group is a leader in the global food ingredients and flavourings market. The group's plants are located in 130 countries. The product range exceeds 15,000 items. Over 24,000 employees work at Kerry plants all over the world. The annual turnover exceeds 6.4 billion Euros.

In 2006, the company opened a subsidiary, LLC Kerry, in Russia, and in 2014 it opened a Development and Innovation Centre for research, prototyping and product development. The company's customers include major Russian and international manufacturers such as Dymov, Cherkizovo, Ostankino, Miratorg, McDonald's, PepsiCo, Nestle and others.

In 2018, PSO-13 built Kerry's first Russian food ingredient plant for the meat and fish processing industries with an annual capacity of 26,000 tonnes. The plant is located at the Kulon-Istra production and warehousing complex.

The plant has a total area of 7,000 m².

The investment amounted to EUR 10 million.

Functionally, the plant consists of an office block, a production block and a warehouse block.

The office block is two-storey. It includes a reception area, cafeteria, wardrobes for personnel, utility rooms, offices, meeting rooms and a server room.

The production block includes a laboratory, auxiliary and technical premises, and three production lines.

The warehouse block consists of a loading and unloading area and high bay racking storage area.

Construction
features

In the course of the project, the water, sewage, heating, electricity and lighting systems were reconstructed and adapted to the requirements of the food production facility. The old heating units were removed and new ones installed. The ventilation system was modernised.

Special wall panels, sealed ceilings and floors with a special wear-resistant coating have been used in the clean categorised production and laboratory areas.
